Male impalas are very protective with the rest member's of their herd. One can very often find them on top of small hills, scaning the area for potential predators...so this is the case here.. I tried to have as much DOF as possible in order to also show the beauty of Masai Mara landscape (the trees in the background are located near the famous Mara river where the herbivore's legendary river crossings take place). Shot taken early in the morning under the glorious African sun!
